Episode #012

tun vs. machen

tun = to do
machen = to make
If only it was that simple!

In many cases, you can literally translate these two verbs, machen and tun, with their English counterparts, to make and to do.
But sometimes, the German language has its own idiomatic expressions with either machen or tun.
And sometimes the verb machen needs to be translated with to do in English.

In this Podcast Episode, I will show you step by step
- when to use machen and
- when to use tun,
- when you can use either, and
- what to do if you're not sure.
